Cross-border FX and money-transmission company. I own operations and finance while building the internal data, product, and compliance systems the business runs on.
- Day-to-day operational contact for clients, the commercial team, liquidity providers, and correspondent banks — resolving trade and payment exceptions with accuracy and urgency.
- Built the production analytics dashboard from scratch (Next.js, Postgres, Vercel): gross margin in USD, corridor profitability, broker breakdowns, and MoM/QoQ/YoY KPIs leadership relies on.
- Designed and built a config-driven, risk-based AML/CFT monitoring engine (Python) with automatic alerting and review; authored the CNBV/UIF regulatory framework behind it.
- Shipped institutional web-app features (React/TypeScript) and created the company's governed knowledge base — 11 domains, with sensitivity tiers controlling what internal AI tools may disclose.
- Coding day-to-day in Python and SQL; heavy use of AI-assisted development to move from problem to shipped product quickly.
